Dining in the former chapel

The former chapel now serves as a dining room and main entrance to the house. During the period that the house was used as a school this room was a classroom

The enormous fireplace invites you to make big, cosy fires on cold winter nights and gives this room an intimate homy feel.

The many authentic details, like the gorgeous tiled floor, the alcove with the Virgin Mary statue and the wall cupboard with the original doors, give this room an even more special atmosphere.

The dining room gives access to the kitchen on one side, and a corridor to the bathroom and the staircase to the second floor bedrooms on the other side. A second staircase takes you up to the new living room, ensuring a very natural transition between the old and the new part of the house.
